At Brooklands Shopping Centre in Weybridge, we’ll do everything possible to ensure that you’re visit is as pleasurable and stress-free as possible.
With ample free parking, extended shopping hours at Marks & Spencer and the Tesco Extra superstore open 24 hours, the Brooklands Shopping Centre is the ideal destination for all your shopping needs. There’s even a 24 hour fuel station, too and Mothercare and Argos are just around the corner.
Situated on the A318, only minutes from Junction 10 (Weybridge) of the M25, Brooklands Shopping Centre is just a stone’s throw from the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit. It’s the perfect place to shop, and you can also grab a bite to eat and relax while enjoying a cup of coffee at Harris + Hoole within Tesco or Tesco’s own cafe. Then there’s the tasty fare offered by the M&S Cafe inside Marks & Spencer where you can catch a cappuccino while taking a break from your shopping.
Brooklands Shopping Centre sits adjacent to the place, which lends its name to the shopping centre, the historic Brooklands Racing Circuit. The world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit was constructed at the very dawn of motor sport, in 1907.
This heritage site was the birthplace of British motorsport and the nation’s aviation industry, the home of much of Concorde’s technical development and the place where many of the UK’s aerospace engineering and technological achievements saw the light of day during eight decades of the 20th century.
Today, this vast site houses an enormous range of motoring and aviation artefacts within an incredible exhibition, with everything displayed being related to the history of Brooklands. The priceless display includes huge and powerful racing cars that competed on the banked circuit, motorcycles and even bicycles. Historic aircraft showcased include an impressive collection of Hawker, Vickers and BAC-built craft, Second World War planes, a twin-jet engine BAC 1-11 (once one of the world’s most popular short-haul airliners) and the only Concorde in the South East offering the public access to its interior.
A wide arrasy of special events is held at Brooklands Museum, the ‘Birthplace of British Motor Sport and Aviation.’ Visit our neighbour’s website for further details by logging onto www.brooklandsmuseum.com. It’s also worth remembering that the sprawling Brooklands site is also the home of world-famous Mercedes-Benz World.
